Kick It USA - Owner and Director - Liz Lima

Liz played her college career at Harvard University, where she graduated from in '05. Prior to that, she was a member of the Region 1 ODP and Youth National Pools. An All American at Rockland High, she was a great high school player, scoring 99 career goals. Lima was an assistant at Stonehill College for 2 years. She is currently the Head Coach at Notre Dame Academy, a coach for the Massachusetts Olympic Development Program, and the director of South Shore Select Junior Academy.

Kick It USA Sr. Coach - Mike Phipps

Mike is entering his fifth season as head women's soccer coach at Massasoit Community College. During his first season, the women posted a record of 2-8-0. Since then the Warriors have compiled a record of 30-29-2 and have qualified for the Region 21 Semi-Finals the past three years .This past season was Massasoit's most successful season with Mike at the helm of the Lady Warriors who finished the 08 season with a record of 13-6-0 and winning the MCCAC State Championship but again unfortunately losing in the Regional XXI semifinals tournament to eventual New England Champs Holyoke Com. College. For his efforts Mike was voted the 2008 Region XXI Coach Of The Year.

Mike has been coaching in the South Shore area for the past 12 years at the club, high school, and college levels working with such clubs as South Shore United and South Shore Select boys and girls youth teams. In Additionally Coach Phipps has also coached two years at Stonehill College as the assistant men's soccer coach. From there, Mike moved on to become co- head coach at Rockland High School for four years. This experience culminated in 2004 when Rockland High School went 19-0-1 and received the number 1 seed in the MIAA tournament. Mike and his fellow coach were voted Enterprise Co-Coaches of the year.

Coach Phipps graduated from Rockland High School in 1994 where he played 4 years of varsity soccer, captaining the team his senior year. He also was voted to the Atlantic Coast League All Star first team and received all scholastic honorable mention for the Boston Globe and Brockton Enterprise. Following high school he continued playing at the college level at both Massasoit and Bridgewater State College. He currently resides in Rockland.

Additionally Mike has worked at many soccer camps in the area including the John Smith Soccer School, Whitman Hanson High School Panther Camp, Stonehill College Soccer Camp, and as well as, directing the Massasoit Soccer Camp for the past three years.

Kick It USA Sr. Coach - Justin Fernandez

Justin graduated from Whitman-Hanson Regional High School, where he was a stand out player receiving such honors as ACL League all -star team three years in row. After high school Justin went on to become a standout at NCAA division II powerhouse University of New Haven. Justin has played at the highest levels of youth soccer as well. In 2005 he helped The Cape Cod Crusaders reach the National finals and was also a member of Mass youth soccer's ODP Program. He was also invited to attend a camp for the MLS franchise D.C. United. Justin is currently a coach for the SS Select's Development Academy

Kick It USA Sr. Coach - Jessey Fernandez

Jessey graduated from Whitman-Hanson Regional High School, where he was a stand out player receiving such honors as ACL League all -star team three years in row. After high school, Jessey went on to become a standout at NCAA division II program University of New Haven where he scored 16 career goals was voted the most valuable player in 2006 and earned ECC All Conference honors.

Jessey has played at the highest levels of youth soccer as well. In 2005 he helped The Cape Cod Crusaders reach the U19 National finals. He was also invited to attend a camp for the MLS franchise D.C. United. He was also asked to tryout with AC St. Louis of USSF Division 2 Professional League.

Jessey is currently playing for powerhouse Boston Olympiakos of the MSSL 1st division. The team has been very successful over the last two years...1st Division Champs (2009), won USASA Amateur Championship (2010), and MSSL Champions & Cup Champions (2011). They are the top offensive and defensive team in the MSSL with a record of 14-0-1.

Jessey is currently a coach for the SS Select's Development Academy. Three words that describe Jessey's attitude when coaching are dedicated, determined, and passionate. He specializes in quick feet training, advanced fitness, mastering foot work & ball control, and shooting.

Kick It USA Sr. Coach - Mark Phipps

Mark graduated from Rockland High School, where he played two years of varsity soccer. He was elected to the Atlantic Coast League All-Star Team and served as a team captain his senior year...He played at both Becker College and Massasoit Community College...also played 1 year of semi-professional soccer...He has been a KIU coach since 2009.

Kick It USA Jr. Coach - Steph Gordon

Northeastern University

2008: Started in 23 games as a freshman...she was named to the CAA All-Tournament team...she has tied the school record for shutouts with seven and ranks sixth with 110 saves all-time in a season

High School:

Played at Rockland High School for four years...Patriot League MVP 2007 and All-Star from 2005-08....Patriot League All-Scholastic from 2006-08...first-team All-State in 2007 and ’08...led the league in goals against average from 2006-08...led Rockland High to state titles in 2005 and ’06...goalkeeper for the 2005 SS Select indoor national champion and state champion teams...member of the state champion Greater Boston Bolts club in 2008...attended Region I ID camp and participated in the Mass. State Olympic Development program from 2005-07.

Boston College

Played for SS Select from 2004 through 2007 ... Currently plays for the Under-18 Boston Bolts ... Was a member of the Region 1 team which traveled to Brazil in March 2008 ... A member of the Mass. Olympic Development program in 2007-08 ... Two-time All-State honoree ... Two-time Eastern Mass. All-Star...A member of the Bay State Select team in the WPSL from 2005-07.

Kick It USA Jr. Coach - Julie Morrissey

University of Cincinnati

High School: Two-time all-state and all-New England selection ... three-time team MVP at Tabor Academy ... helped team to a pair of New England Class B championships ... part of a team that didn't lose a match until her senior season...member of Massachusetts Olympic Development Program state team for three years ... ODP regional pool player for two seasons ... won state championships with U-15 and U-17 club teams.

Kick It USA Jr. Coach - Ariel Kenyon

Dartmouth College

Played three years of varsity soccer for Notre Dame Academy under Coach Liz Lima, serving as team captain her senior year...Eastern Mass All-Division and All-State honors as a junior...Patriot Ledger All-Scholastic in 2008 and 2009...Played club soccer for South Shore Select Juntos, winning state championships in 2009, 2007, and 2004.
